Financial Aid Estimate Process

WE ENCOURAGE YOU to complete and submit the Financial Aid Estimate Form so that we may estimate your eligibility for scholarships and need-based assistance. The Financial Aid Estimate Form is designed for U.S. citizens or permanent residents considering Ohio Wesleyan University.  Financial aid estimates are provided from September 1 through December 31. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be completed after January 1 for official financial aid notices.

Once your form has been received, the Office of Financial Aid will determine your eligibility and notify you in writing of your estimated financial aid assistance.

Please note the following information regarding the financial aid estimate process:

  • Complete and submit the form by December 31.
  • There is no charge for our financial aid estimate process.
  • All of your information will be kept confidential.
  • If you currently do not know your EFC (Expected Family Contribution), please complete the Federal Estimator found at the ACT Financial Aid Need Estimator Web site. Once your information has been calculated, please enter your EFC in the space provided on this form.
  • After you have completed the form and clicked the Submit button, you will receive a reply from the Office of Financial Aid detailing an expected amount for grants, scholarships, loans, and campus employment for the academic year.
  • All financial assistance information is estimated. You will still need to complete the FAFSA to apply officially for the funds that will be listed on your estimate.
  • Contact the Office of Financial Aid if you have any questions.
