Faculty

Ohio Wesleyan students consistently rate the faculty highly for quality of teaching, excitement for their academic disciplines, mentoring commitment, and accessibility.

138 full-time faculty; nearly 100% hold Ph.D. or terminal degrees in their field; Student-faculty ratio: 13 to 1.

Tuition and Fees

General fees for 2009-2010 are as follows: tuition is $34,570, a standard room is $4,490, average board is $4,318, the information technology fee is $250, and the student activity fee is $220.

The total average base annual cost for domestic (U.S.) residential students is $43,848. (International students add US$1000 for required health insurance, bringing the total to US$44,848 per year.) Additional expenses include books and supplies, transportation, and personal items.

The 2007-2008 average domestic (U.S.) student award package was more than $25,626. The average net price (total tuition and fees minus total financial aid) for domestic (U.S.) students was $14,334.
