Scholars Celebration

You are invited to attend Ohio Wesleyan University's Class of 2012 Scholars Celebration, scheduled for Monday, March 3, 2008. This special event is designed specifically for students ADMITTED to Ohio Wesleyan who have been awarded a Faculty, Trustee or Presidential Scholarship. The event includes a reception with faculty and current OWU students (4:30 - 5:30pm), followed by a sit-down dinner celebration, also with faculty and students (5:30 - 7:30pm).
In addition to these activities, we are offering you the chance to do a more "extended" visit in conjunction with this event. You can spend the evening on campus with a current OWU student on the evening of Sunday, March 2nd and attend class(es), take a campus tour and meet with faculty and/or coaches on Monday morning. Additionally, we've arranged for a special luncheon with Provost and Interim President, Dr. David Robbins. After lunch, you'll have a chance to attend an information session on the Honors Program, take advantage of a Residence Hall Tour and listen to a student panel made up of current OWU Honors Students.
Whether you take full advantage of the extended visit opportunities... come for part of the activities... or just attend the Reception and Dinner, we hope you'll join us for this very special event! Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend as well. Check out the Schedule of Events below for a more detailed look at the opportunities available.
