Selby Field is the University's main athletic stadium —
home of the Bishop football, track, and men's lacrosse teams. Constructed
in 1921, Selby
received a new, fully enclosed two-level press box and new bleacher seats
in 1988 and refurbished locker rooms in 1990 as part of a three-phase
restoration program. The field's natural grass playing surface was replaced with an artificial OmniGrass playing surface in 2006. The facility, which seats 9,100 and is the fourth-largest
college-owned field in NCAA Division III, was the site of the 1988 Division
III men's lacrosse championship game.
