Bishop "A Slice of College Life" is a two-day program (optional overnight on Sunday, April 13) designed specifically for students who have been admitted to Ohio Wesleyan University. Participants will have the opportunity to tour campus, visit a class, and meet with faculty members, athletic coaches, and OWU administrators as well as attend information sessions on the honors program, athletics, career services, academic advising, course registration, and student life. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.

"Slice" is a one-of-a-kind OWU program. Even if you have visited campus before, we hope that you will join us for this special event.

Day One	Sunday, April 13 (tentative)
Morning / Afternoon	(optional early arrival activities)
12:00 - 5:30 p.m.	Registration / Information Table Open. Hamilton-Williams Campus Center (HWCC).
12:00 - 3:00 p.m.	Financial Aid Officers available. Slocum Hall, Room 246.
12:00 noon - Midnight	Library Internet Cafe Open. Beeghly Library.
1:00 - 4:00 p.m.	Explore Delaware. Select downtown merchants/restaurants will be open for business. Complete listing available at the Regration table.
1:00 - 6:00 p.m.	Campus Tours. HWCC.
1:00 p.m.	Conrades◊Wetherell Science Center Tour. CWSC, Atrium.
1:00 p.m.	Fine Arts Facility Tour. Edgar Hall.
1:00 p.m.	Walking Tour of Historic Downtown Delaware. Led by Main Street Delaware Executive Director, Francis Jo Hamilton.
1:30 p.m.	Matinee Movie. Strand Theater.
2:00 p.m.	Residence Hall Tours. HWCC.
2:00 - 4:00 p.m. (ish)	Springtime "Two-fer"- The Department of Theatre and Dance presents Orchesis 2008 (student contemporary dance production) and The Photographer (a multi-media theatre/dance extravaganza). Limited Seating, reservations required and taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Chappelear Drama Center *THE BLOCK OF THEATRE TICKETS WE HAVE RESERVED ARE FULL, SO NO ADDITIONAL RESERVATIONS CAN BE TAKEN AT THIS TIME. 2:00 p.m.	Walking Tour of Historic Downtown Delaware. Led by Main Street Delaware Executive Director, Francis Jo Hamilton.
3:00 p.m.	Conrades◊Wetherell Science Center Tour. CWSC, Atrium.
3:15 p.m.	The Department of Music presents the Choral Art Society and OWU Chamber Orchestra Spring Concert. Admission is FREE. Gray Chapel, University Hall
4:00 p.m.	Residence Hall Tours. HWCC.

4:30-5:30 p.m.	Meet your overnight host. Hamilton-Williams Campus Center (HWCC) Atrium.
5:00 - 6:15 p.m.	Historic Bus Tours of Delaware for PARENTS. Departs from Chappelear Drama Center. Limited seating, reservations required and taken on a first-come, first- served basis. * THE BUS TOUR IS CURRENTLY FULL, SO NO ADDITIONAL RESERVATIONS CAN BE TAKEN AT THIS TIME. 6:15-7:15 p.m.	Cocktail Reception for PARENTS. Meet with OWU faculty and administrators, Hamilton-Williams Campus Center (HWCC).
6:30 p.m.	Legacy Dinner. Special dinner for prospective students who have had relatives attend OWU. CWSC, Atrium
7:00 p.m.	Ice Cream Social. On the JAYWalk for students. HWCC JAYwalk.
7:30 p.m.	Dinner for PARENTS. Dine with OWU faculty and administrators, HWCC Benes Room.
8:00 p.m.	Roundtable Discussions/Open Houses. Greek Life, Minority Student Affairs, Community Service Learning.
8:15 p.m.	Parent-to-Parent Discussion for PARENTS. OWU Parents discuss their children's experiences with their own impressions of Ohio Wesleyan, HWCC Benes Room.
9:15 p.m.	A Slice of Campus Talent. Social for students, The Strand Theatre.
11:30 p.m.	Munch and Mingle. The Strand Theatre.
Midnight	Midnight Movie or Musical Entertainment. The Strand Theatre.
Day Two	Monday, April 14 (tentative)
8:00 - 9:00 a.m.	Registration. HWCC Atrium.
9:00 a.m.	Welcome and Continental Breakfast. Featuring Interim President and Provost, Dr. David Robbins. HWCC Benes Room.
10:00 a.m. - 12noon	Library Internet Cafe Open. Beeghly Library.
10:00 a.m.	Class Visitation. Class assignments are made based on academic interests and class availability. You will receive your class assignment when you arrive to campus. or Concurrent Sessions. Academic Advising and Registration, Athletics, Campus Tours (academic facilities only), Honors Program, Student Services, Experiential Learning
